A good salsa recipe... 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Basically a test post. But here is a good salsa recipe. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare in a food processor or a crank salsa maker.
10 Roma Tomatoes
1 medium Onion
3 or 4 cloves of Garlic
1 can of green chiles or roast a green chile on a grill until blackened and peel the skin off, chop it up.
Some cilantro leaves (not too muc or salsa will be bitter
Squeeze of lime
dash of salt
1/4 - 1/2 cup of vinegar
dash of oregano (Mexican Oregano if available, otherwise itallian is OK)
Sometimes I use Basil as well.
Combine all ingrdedients in a food processor and chop. The longer you run the processor, the more watery the salsa will be.
Hand cranked chopped work will for a more chunky, less watery salsa.
Enjoy!
